Affiliate partnerships & Expedia
destination.com is a participant in the Expedia Group Travel Creator Program via Partnerize. When you click an affiliate link to Expedia (or any other partner), that partner may set cookies to track your session for commission attribution purposes. We earn a commission when you complete a booking through our links. This does not increase the price you pay. Expedia's privacy policy applies to any data collected when you visit their site.
Cookies
We use session cookies (deleted when you close your browser), persistent cookies (stored until expiry), and analytics cookies (Google Analytics). Affiliate links set Partnerize tracking cookies when clicked. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, some portions of our site may not function properly.
Data sharing
We share your information only with: (a) service providers who assist us in operating our website and newsletter (e.g. email service providers); (b) analytics providers (Google Analytics); (c) affiliate tracking platforms (Partnerize); (d) law enforcement or regulators where required by law. Data retention
We retain your email address and subscription preferences for as long as you remain a subscriber. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter email. Upon unsubscribing, we will remove your address from our active mailing list within 72 hours.

Children's privacy
Our site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
