Inês Rocha covers the Iberian peninsula and lusophone world for destination.com — Portugal, Spain's western edge, the Azores, and the coastal cities of Brazil. She spent five years as a features editor at Time Out Lisboa before moving to Rio in 2022 to write for Piauí and O Globo. Her reporting has focused on the tension between heritage and gentrification in Lisbon, Porto, and the Recôncavo Baiano. She joined destination.com in 2025 and writes the monthly "Lusophone Letter" dispatch.
